Job Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must meet all requirements to receive necessary airport SIDA badge and Customs Seal if applicable
  • Must comply with ABM management grooming standards
  • Must wear SIDA badge or Airport ID at all times
  • Must comply with and enforce all ABM Corporation Employee Handbook guidelines and policies including Zero Tolerance Discrimination and Harassment, Retaliation, Ethics, and Security policies
  • Must work schedule as assigned

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • College degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Previous management experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating manuals, and handbooks
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions in written and verbal form
  • Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to apply common sense and solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations

Job Duties

  • Monitor and maintain staffing levels with the help of Human Resources
  • Ensure future schedules are complete including days off and vacations
  • Cover all call offs
  • Accommodate fluctuating client staffing requests
  • Manage employee lunches and breaks
  • Enforce the No-Fault Attendance Policy
  • Communicate frequently with Client representatives regarding operations
  • Manage daily schedules
  • Maintain daily shift reports for managers
  • Perform basic administrative and payroll functions if applicable
  • Maintain communication with other Duty Managers and Supervisors to optimize staffing
  • Coach, counsel, and discipline employees effectively
  • Collaborate with Safety Quality Manager to ensure safety and security
  • Set a positive and professional example for the workforce
  • Ensure front-line employee compliance with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards established by the Company, clients, and regulatory authorities
  • Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
