Job Requirements

  • Current FAA commercial pilot license
  • Valid Certified Flight Instructor certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Ability to provide official transcripts or diploma
  • Completion of application with all required documents
  • Willingness to comply with college policies and procedures
  • Eligibility to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • Hold a current FAA commercial pilot license
  • Possess a valid Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in aviation or related field preferred
  • Experience in flight instruction or aviation education
  • Strong communication and instructional skills
  • Ability to engage and motivate diverse student populations
  • Knowledge of FAA regulations and flight training procedures

Job Duties

  • Deliver flight instruction to students compliant with FAA regulations
  • Conduct classroom teaching on aviation theory and flight principles
  • Assess and monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
  • Develop and update course materials and curricula
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards during flight training
  • Collaborate with academic staff in program development and assessment
  • Maintain current knowledge of aviation industry regulations and instructional methodologies
