Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years experience, or Associate degree plus six years experience
  • FAA issued commercial pilot license
  • Current Certified Flight Instructor certificate
  • Ability to teach and communicate effectively with adult students
  • Possession of necessary certificates and licenses
  • Submission of official transcripts and current credentials
  • Availability for Spring 2026 teaching assignment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher plus two years relevant experience or Associate degree plus six years relevant experience
  • Possession of FAA issued commercial pilot license or higher
  • Current Certified Flight Instructor or Advanced Ground Instructor certificate
  • Preferred 1500 hours logged flight time
  • Preferred Certified Flight Instructor - Instrument certificate
  • Experience as chief pilot or check airman
  • Experience teaching adult learners

Job Duties

  • Provide flight instruction to students
  • Develop and deliver aviation curriculum
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations
  • Maintain student records
  • Participate in division meetings and professional development
  • Support the aviation program's educational goals
