Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience working with audio-visual systems in a work and/or hobby environment
  • demonstrated experience and/or ability to coordinate a successful AV program
  • demonstrated experience providing customer service in a work environment
  • demonstrated success working with people of diverse ages and backgrounds
  • ability to be punctual and timely with projects and schedule
  • strong customer service skills with an emphasis on communicating technical information clearly
  • general knowledge of audiovisual systems, stage lighting, sound systems, and related equipment, component installation, troubleshooting

Job Duties

  • Coordinate AV coverage for events across the museum
  • set up and troubleshoot AV equipment for special events
  • maintain and inventory audiovisual equipment for all event spaces
  • assist in the installation and repair of stage lighting and sound systems
  • communicate technical information clearly to diverse audiences
  • support the IT Manager in AV program management
  • ensure punctuality and reliability in covering scheduled events
