Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in related field
- Minimum of 7 years professional experience in AV operations and support
- At least 3 years managing AV teams in corporate settings
- Demonstrable expertise with Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms
- Strong technical knowledge in AV hardware and enterprise networking
- Proven experience in vendor and contract management
- Ability to lead and communicate effectively under pressure
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and incident management tools
- Willingness to work onsite 5 days per week in one of the designated locations
- Ability to travel occasionally for system buildouts and events
Job Qualifications
- 7+ years in AV operations/support including 3+ years leading AV technicians or service teams
- Proven delivery of hybrid event production and executive-level support
- Hands-on expertise with room systems such as Microsoft Teams Rooms and Zoom Rooms
- Knowledge of SIP/H.323, PTZ cameras, DSPs, and control systems like Crestron and Extron
- Working knowledge of enterprise networking including VLANs, QoS, PoE
- Experience with monitoring and remote endpoint management tools
- Vendor management and contract/SLA oversight experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Working knowledge of ITIL and practical experience with ServiceNow or Jira
- Preferred certifications such as CTS, CTS-I, CTS-D, Dante Level 2/3, and Microsoft Teams Rooms or Zoom Rooms certifications
- Experience with webcast platforms and broadcast switchers
Job Duties
- Oversee daily AV operations for conference rooms, event spaces, and hybrid meeting environments ensuring spaces meet or exceed SLAs
- Lead and coach a team of AV technicians managing scheduling, task assignments, and performance
- Develop and enforce proactive room readiness programs including health checks and device monitoring
- Serve as escalation point for critical incidents impacting executives and high-visibility events
- Plan and execute AV support for executive meetings, webcasts, and multi-site hybrid events including large-scale productions
- Ensure zero-surprise delivery through advance room checks, content testing, and rapid incident response
- Partner with L3 AV/Collaboration Engineering on standards, reference designs, and technology pilots
- Analyze performance metrics to drive service improvements and reduce incidents
- Support buildouts, expansions, and refresh cycles with input on SOW and room acceptance
- Manage relationships with AV vendors regarding performance reviews, maintenance renewals, and SLA adherence
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to manage changes and mitigate risks
- Own AV asset lifecycle ensuring standards, inventory, and firmware updates
- Enforce ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management processes
- Ensure compliance with security and accessibility guidelines for AV solutions and recorded content
