- two years of experience in an auto repair facility or educational equivalent required
- proficient with computer skills
- supervisory experience preferred
- ASE certification preferred
- ability to operate a department at a profit according to dealership guidelines

- conduct and arrange for employee training in safety, repair, maintenance techniques, and operational procedures or equipment
- analyze and control expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements
- understand, keep abreast of and comply with federal, state and local regulations regarding the service department
