Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in paint operations within a collision center
  • ability to do consistent physical activity including reaching below and above shoulder level, kneeling, bending, squatting, and lifting objects over 50 lbs
  • ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • ability to work through competing priorities and adapt easily to a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Auto body certificate or ASE certification in refinishing preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare color tint to match paint color
  • mix paint colors and ensure all formulations
  • prepare, top coat, and cure paint to meet OEM recommended standards
  • apply paint according to proper application sequence, timing, and materials usage
  • ensure all paint operations are complete and masking is removed
  • reassemble parts disassembled for painting prior to returning vehicle to body technician
  • maintain cleanliness and organization within the painting area
