Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 months actual experience or supervised training as a hood technician
- Ability and license to operate motor vehicles
- Basic literacy including reading, writing, and math skills
- Verbal communication skills
- Ability to use mechanical hand tools properly
- Attention to detail
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards

- Minimum 3 months actual experience or supervised training as a hood technician required
Job Duties
- Work safely, wear safety gear, keep work area clean and organized
- Use Echo System / Echo services and vehicle information
- Direct the vehicle into the bay
- Place fender covers on the vehicle
- Perform light check and check/fill automatic transmission fluid (when applicable), condition and level of oil, power steering fluid, windshield washer fluid, coolant, battery electrolyte
- Remove and check emissions components: Replace top-side oil filter, when applicable, air filter, cabin air filter, breather, and radiator cap
- Deliver emissions components to center manager for customer presentation, when applicable install emissions components
- Perform visual inspection of belts, hoses, and other hood compartment components, document unusual conditions
- Perform additional services, as needed, perform final safety and quality check
- Record information on Work Order
