Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 months actual experience or supervised training as a hood technician
- Customer service skills
- Basic literacy (reading, writing, math skills)
- Verbal communication skills
- Ability and license to operate motor vehicles
- Ability to properly use mechanical hand tools

Job Duties
- Work safely, wear safety gear, keep work area clean and organized
- Use Echo System / Echo services and vehicle information
- Direct the vehicle into the bay
- Place fender covers on the vehicle
- Perform light check and check/fill automatic transmission fluid (when applicable), condition and level of oil, power steering fluid, windshield washer fluid, coolant, battery electrolyte
- Remove and check emissions components: replace top-side oil filter (when applicable), air filter, cabin air filter, breather, and radiator cap
- Deliver emissions components to center manager for customer presentation (when applicable), install emissions components
- Perform visual inspection of belts, hoses, and other hood compartment components, document unusual conditions
- Perform additional services as needed, perform final safety and quality check
- Record information on Work Order
