Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
  • no drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years
  • must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • ability to work full-time hours according to provided schedule
  • physical ability to perform vehicle cleaning duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • adherence to company safety and cleanliness standards

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • ability to operate cleaning machinery and tools
  • basic knowledge of vehicle mechanics and safety standards
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • prior experience as an automotive detailer or similar role preferred
  • reliable attendance and punctuality

Job Duties

  • Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
  • wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior including cars, vans, and trucks
  • check fuel level and warning lights, inspect windshield for damage, reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data, check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found, verify registration is present, current, and matches the license plate
  • check fluid levels and add as needed, check tire condition, pressure and tread depth, inspect vehicle exterior for damage
  • fuel and stage vehicle
  • inspect vehicle for safety concerns, report any warning lights or damage, pull vehicle out of prep process as necessary
  • maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
  • operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors
  • assist customers when needed and transport customers to and from branches
  • maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations
  • maintain cleanliness of desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping lot, and other related tasks
