Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in automotive detailing or a similar role is advantageous
- Ability to work the specified part-time schedule including Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards
- Ability to operate cleaning tools and equipment
- Capable of handling physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Reliable and punctual
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past 2 years
- No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be willing to accept $15 per hour wage
Job Duties
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
- Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior including cars, vans, and trucks
- Check fuel level and warning lights
- inspect windshield for damage
- factory reset or restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data
- check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found
- verify registration is present, current and matches license plate
- Check fluid levels and add as needed
- check tire condition, pressure and tread depth
- inspect vehicle exterior for damage
- Fuel and stage vehicle
- Inspect vehicle for any safety concerns
- report warning lights and vehicle, windshield, or tire damage
- pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
- Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
- Assist customers when needed including transporting customers to and from branches
- Maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interior and exterior branch locations
- Perform daily cleaning tasks such as desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, and sweeping the lot
