Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1 year of experience in automotive detailing or related field preferred
- valid driver's license with clean driving record
- ability to work the specified part-time schedule including weekends
- physically capable of performing detailed cleaning and inspection tasks
- strong attention to detail
- good organizational and time management skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in the past 3 years
- no drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in the past 5 years
- authorized to work in the United States without requiring work visa sponsorship
- ability to perform physical tasks related to vehicle cleaning and detailing
- good communication and interpersonal skills to assist customers
Job Duties
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
- wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior including cars, vans, and trucks
- check fuel level and warning lights, inspect windshield for damage, restore vehicle settings, check for customer items and verify registration
- check fluid levels, tire condition, pressure, tread depth, and inspect vehicle exterior for damage
- fuel and stage vehicle
- inspect vehicle for safety concerns and report issues
- maintain a clean and orderly work area and report hazards
- operate tools like carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers
- assist customers and transport them when needed
- maintain overall site appearance including cleaning branch interiors and exteriors
- perform cleaning of desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping lot and other daily cleanliness tasks
- seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
- maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
- perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
