Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- valid driver’s license with no more than 2 moving violations or at-fault accidents in past 3 years
- no drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in past 5 years
- authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- ability to work Monday through Friday 9:30am to 6:30pm
- physical capability to perform auto detailing duties
- reliable attendance and punctuality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in auto detailing or vehicle maintenance is beneficial
- valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- ability to follow safety protocols and company procedures
- strong attention to detail
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to work full-time hours consistently
- physical ability to perform tasks associated with auto detailing
- willingness to learn and develop new skills
Job Duties
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
- wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior including cars, vans, and trucks
- check fuel level and warning lights, inspect windshield for damage, reset vehicle settings to clear prior customer data, check for customer items, verify registration
- check fluid levels and add as needed, inspect tire condition, pressure, and tread depth, inspect vehicle exterior for damage
- fuel and stage vehicle for rental
- inspect vehicle for safety concerns and report any problems, remove vehicle from prep process if necessary
- maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe conditions
- operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains and odors
- assist customers when needed including transportation
- help maintain overall site cleanliness including interior and exterior of branch location
- maintain desktops, countertops, phones, floors, bathrooms, trash, and parking lots to ensure branch appearance
- seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, training, and goal setting
- maintain regular attendance and punctuality
- perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
