Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous automotive detailing or cleaning experience advantageous
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- excellent communication skills
- physical stamina to perform prolonged standing, bending, and manual tasks
- valid driver's license with clean driving record required
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- ability to follow safety protocols
- willingness to work scheduled shifts
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- must have a valid driver's license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past two years
- no drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in the past five years
- authorized to work in the United States without work authorization sponsorship
- willingness to accept $16.00 per hour wage
Job Duties
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
- wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior including cars, vans and trucks
- check fuel level and warning lights, inspect windshield for damage, perform factory reset and restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data, check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found
- verify registration is present, current and matches license plate
- check fluid levels and add as needed, inspect tire condition, pressure and tread depth, examine vehicle exterior for damage
- fuel and stage vehicle
- inspect vehicle for safety concerns and report any issues, pull vehicle out of prep processing as necessary
- maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe or hazardous conditions
- operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors
- assist customers when needed and transport customers to and from branches
- maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations, desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, parking lot and perform miscellaneous cleaning tasks related to branch cleanliness
- seek to improve job performance through self-assessment, skill development, training and goal setting
- maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
- perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
