Job Requirements

  • Must have at least six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience
  • must be at least eighteen years of age
  • must be living within a reasonable commute of no more than one hour from Newark International Airport location
  • must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship
  • must have a valid, unrestricted driver's license issued by a US State or Territory
  • must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • must have open availability including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends
  • first-time drivers and under 21 must complete New Jersey Graduated Driver License program requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in automotive detailing or related field is an advantage
  • valid, unrestricted driver's license issued by a US State or Territory
  • ability to read, write, and speak English
  • strong attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
  • basic mechanical knowledge and vehicle inspection skills
  • ability to operate cleaning tools and equipment
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
  • ability to work various shifts including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends
  • authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Job Duties

  • Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
  • wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior including cars, vans, and trucks
  • check fuel level and warning lights
  • inspect windshield for damage
  • factory reset and restore vehicle settings
  • check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found
  • verify registration is present and current
  • check fluid levels and add as needed
  • check tire condition, pressure, and tread depth
  • inspect vehicle exterior for damage
  • fuel and stage vehicle
  • inspect vehicle for safety concerns and report any issues
  • maintain a clean and orderly work area and report hazards
  • operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers
  • assist customers when needed including transporting to and from branches
  • help maintain overall site appearance including general cleaning of interiors and exteriors of branch locations
  • keep desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms clean and orderly
  • seek to improve job performance through self-assessment and training
  • maintain regular attendance and punctuality
  • perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
