Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid, unrestricted US driver's license
- Authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
- Able to read, write, and speak English
- Living within a reasonable commute of no more than 1 hour from Milford, CT location
- Minimum of six consecutive months of prior work or organizational experience
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in auto detailing or vehicle cleaning preferred
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety checks
- Ability to operate detailing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Job Duties
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
- Wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior including cars, vans, and trucks
- Check fuel level and warning lights, inspect windshield for damage, factory reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data, check for customer items and secure valuables in Lost & Found, verify registration
- Check fluid levels and add as needed, check tire condition, pressure and tread depth, inspect vehicle exterior for damage
- Fuel and stage vehicle
- Inspect vehicle for safety concerns, report any warning lights or damages, pull vehicle from prep processing as necessary
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report unsafe conditions
- Operate tools like carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
- Assist customers when needed and transport them between locations
- Maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interiors and exteriors of branch locations
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot, and other cleanliness duties
