Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- must have a valid driver’s license with no more than two moving violations and/or at-fault accidents in the past three years
- no drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record in the past five years
- must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in automotive detailing or related field is an asset
- ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools effectively
- basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety inspections
- strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- good communication and customer service skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- reliable and responsible work ethic
Job Duties
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
- wash, clean and dry the vehicle exterior including cars, vans, and trucks
- check fuel level and warning lights, inspect windshield for damage, restore vehicle settings, check for customer items and verify registration
- check fluid levels, tire condition, pressure and tread depth, inspect vehicle exterior for damage
- fuel and stage vehicles for rental
- inspect vehicles for safety concerns and report any issues, remove unsafe vehicles from processing
- maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions
- operate tools like carpet shampoo machines and air purifiers to remove stains, pet hair, and odors
- assist customers when needed, including transporting them to and from branch locations
- maintain overall site appearance including cleaning interior and exterior of branch
- keep desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms clean and vacuum and sweep the lot
- seek continuous improvement through self-assessment, skill development and training
- maintain reliable attendance and punctuality
- perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
