Job Requirements
- Must have a valid driver’s license with no more than 2 civil moving violations or at-fault accidents in past 3 years
- must have a valid US driver’s license for a minimum of 1 year
- must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- must be at least 18 years old
- availability to work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- ability to perform physical tasks required for vehicle cleaning and inspection
- reliable transportation to the workplace
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in automotive detailing or similar role a plus
- ability to operate cleaning equipment and tools
- strong attention to detail
- good communication skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safety checks
- valid US driver’s license held for at least one year
- customer service skills
Job Duties
- Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry-standard protocols
- wash, clean and dry the vehicle's exterior including cars, trucks, and vans
- check fuel level and warning lights, inspect windshield for damage, factory reset vehicle settings, check for customer items and place valuables in Lost & Found, verify registration
- check fluid levels and add as needed, inspect tire condition, pressure and tread depth, inspect vehicle exterior for damage
- fuel and stage vehicle for rental
- inspect vehicle for safety concerns, report warning lights or damage, and pull vehicle out of prep process as needed
- maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe conditions
- operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors
- assist customers when needed and provide transportation to and from the branch
- maintain overall site appearance including cleaning of interiors, exteriors, lot, bathrooms and other daily cleaning tasks
- seek to improve job performance through training and development
- maintain regular and reliable attendance
- perform miscellaneous related duties as assigned
