Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- Experience with process control systems
- Familiarity with Emerson technologies especially DeltaV
- Ability to configure and test control modules and batch processes
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to travel to customer sites
- Ability to work independently on-site
- Commitment to safety and quality standards
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
- Experience with Emerson DeltaV Distributed Control Systems
- Knowledge of process control and automation principles
- Ability to develop system design documentation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Start-ups
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Capability to work independently in field environments
Job Duties
- Implement control strategies within the DeltaV DCS
- Configure and test control and equipment modules classes and instances
- Configure and test batch control strategies including phase classes and recipes
- Configure custom dynamos, graphic displays, and trends
- Develop system design documentation for continuous and batch process control applications
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and Software Acceptance Tests (SATs)
- Support start-up and commissioning activities at customer sites
- Troubleshoot system hardware, software, network, and instrument bus technologies
- Configure and commission wireless field networks
- Configure DeltaV Continuous Historian and integration to 3rd party Historians such as OSI PI
- Develop custom shift, environmental, or production reports for plant maintenance and operations personnel
- Configure process modeling and simulation using Mynah MiMic software and DeltaV
- Work independently on-site at customer locations
