- Minimum age 18
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ years of bakery experience
- completion of company orientation, safety training, and eCommerce online ordering training upon hire

Job Duties
- Provide superior customer service
- take cake orders from customers by telephone or in person with accuracy
- answer customer questions regarding products and assist with selections
- use suggestive selling techniques to meet customer needs and build department sales
- apply proper decorating techniques according to visual training aids to produce quality cakes and pastries
- write on cakes with icing on request
- read and execute daily production list through cake flow
- ensure quality control of all products before sending to sales floor as per VTAs
- ensure cake products reach showcase and tables at prescribed times
- prepare, package, and merchandise fresh product effectively
- slice, package, label, and rotate products
- record production and shrink to aid in production planning
- maintain sanitation in work area
- comply with H-E-B food safety and sanitation standards
- comply with department and store operating procedures
- operate and maintain all equipment properly
