Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in audio-visual support or related technical role
  • ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs
  • physically capable of setting up heavy equipment
  • self-motivated and detail oriented
  • professional appearance
  • good hearing and eyesight
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • strong communication and customer service skills
  • clean driving record

Job Qualifications

  • knowledge of current audio-visual technologies and techniques

Job Duties

  • assist client in supporting all audio-visual business requirements
  • provide alternative solutions and opportunities
  • identify time and cost constraints and deliver high level corporate conference settings for meetings and events
  • coordinate audio-visual services with other departments and outside vendors as required
  • maintain audio-visual equipment by diagnosing problems, recommending and implementing modifications, or securing outside maintenance/repair services
  • troubleshoot equipment problems to avoid schedule delays
  • perform routine maintenance and repair of equipment as needed
  • operate audio-visual equipment including cameras, lighting, and other equipment for training events, presentations, lectures, employee meetings, etc.
  • maintain all audio-visual equipment manuals
  • develop and maintain guidelines for use of audio-visual equipment
  • maintain current knowledge pertaining to audio-visual technologies, techniques, and equipment
  • set up and adjust audio-visual equipment according to customers' specifications
  • assist facilities technicians with minor preventative maintenance activities such as lighting bulb replacements, air filter changes, pest control device inspections
