Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- Minimum one year experience in team management and live production
- Experience with audio-visual system installation and maintenance
- Customer service and equipment repair experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Supervisory experience managing student assistants
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- First Aid and CPR/AED certification within first month
- Completion of Extron NAV Systems and Mobile Elevating Working Platform certifications within six months
- Ability to understand and comply with laws and regulations
- Physical ability to perform duties in various indoor and outdoor conditions
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related program
- Minimum one year of experience managing teams and live productions
- Experience overseeing audio-visual installations, diagnosis, and equipment testing
- Experience providing customer service and equipment repair
- Preferred 1-2 years' experience working with students
- Ability to read and interpret technical materials
- Ability to write reports and procedure manuals
- Proficient in MS Office and working knowledge of EMS, 7Point Ops, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Job Duties
- Serve as a specialist in audio-visual and room configuration needs for in-house and off-campus contacts
- Maintain a high level of customer service by engaging with clients and addressing their needs promptly
- Utilize critical thinking and quick decision-making to resolve on-site issues during events
- Oversee installation, upgrade, and maintenance of AV systems including conference rooms and digital signage
- Manage meeting room and facility setups by coordinating with clients and Event Services Manager
- Restore non-working AV equipment and provide routine support for moves, adds, and changes
- Oversee inventory management by tracking and maintaining supplies and equipment
