Job Requirements

  • bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • minimum one year of relevant experience
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • maintain First Aid and CPR/AED certification within the first month
  • complete Extron NAV Systems Certification, Extron Network Systems Specialist Program, and Mobile Elevating Working Platform Certification within six months
  • valid background check
  • strong communication and leadership skills
  • ability to use multiple software programs
  • willing to work on-site during late nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • bachelor’s degree in a related program
  • minimum one year of experience managing teams and running live productions
  • experience overseeing audio visual installations, diagnosis, and equipment testing
  • providing customer service and equipment repair
  • 1-2 years experience working with students preferred
  • ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals and technical procedures
  • ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
  • ability to perform mathematical computations including add, subtract, multiply, divide
  • ability to solve practical problems and interpret varied instructions
  • advanced knowledge of MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • working knowledge of EMS, 7Point Ops, Adobe Creative Suite preferred

Job Duties

  • serves as a specialist in audio-visual and room configuration needs for in-house, on- and off-campus contacts
  • maintain a high level of customer service by actively engaging with clients and addressing their needs promptly
  • utilize critical thinking and quick decision-making skills to resolve issues on the spot during events
  • oversee installations, upgrades, and maintenance of AV systems including conference rooms, digital signage, and video telecommunications
  • oversee meeting room and facility setups by coordinating with the Event Services Manager and clients
  • restore non-working AV equipment to working condition and provide routine move/add/change support
  • oversee inventory management by tracking, organizing, and maintaining accurate records of supplies and equipment
