Job Requirements
- 10 plus years of experience with AVL-VC systems design and operations
- Secret clearance
- InfoComm International - Certified Technology Specialist-General certification
- Experience with digital sound processing, projection and control systems
- Ability to work physically including lifting up to 50 pounds and working at heights
- Ability to read architectural plans and schematic drawings
- Comfortable working in varied environments including confined and dimly lit spaces
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills
Job Qualifications
- 10 plus years of experience with design, development, implementation, installation, operations and sustainment of AVL-VC systems
- Secret clearance
- InfoComm International - Certified Technology Specialist-General (CTS) certification
- 10 plus years of experience with digital sound processor, digital projection and digital display, control systems equipment installation and operations
- BA/BS in a technology related field desired but not required
- Ability to read and understand architectural plans and schematic line drawings
- Ability to walk, stand, kneel, squat, bend, lift and push during job tasks
- Comfortable working at heights and in dimly lit or restricted spaces
- Ability to lift and transport equipment up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Provide audio, visual, lighting and videoconferencing support for classrooms, conference rooms and auditoriums
- Develop plans for AVL-VC systems sustainment, operations, and enhancements including conceptual design and cost estimates
- Participate in planning meetings for special events to determine AVL-VC requirements
- Operate and guide others in the operation of AVL-VC systems
- Configure AV systems and equipment such as Crestron, AMX, Extron, Biamp, matrix mixers and switchers
- Provide user training on operation and maintenance of AVL-VC systems
- Troubleshoot wired or wireless data networks supporting AVL-VC systems
- Perform needs assessment analysis and site surveys for technology systems
