Job Requirements

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
  • Spanish language proficiency preferred
  • Previous ministry training and experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Christian/Biblical customer service approach
  • Ability to discern spiritual issues and excellent listening skills
  • Understanding and knowledge of Scripture
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, problem solve, and multi-task
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, SharePoint, Pray4One, and social media
  • Minimum keyboard speed of 45 WPM
  • Ability to multi-task inbound/outbound calls and communications with accuracy
  • Versatility and flexibility
  • Ability to represent ministry professionally and maintain confidentiality

Job Duties

  • Maintain a commitment to model Care Team values in every interaction
  • Practice the 5 C's of service on every applicable call
  • Answer audience support calls and complete prayer edits in the Pray4One system
  • Support additional channels such as emails, chat, text, and multi-language inquiries when necessary
  • Provide professional and empathetic care about callers' struggles and needs
  • Transfer callers to pastors or other departments for additional support, including crisis triage
  • Meet and exceed minimum expectations for work production, quality, and call availability
  • Demonstrate competence and acquire deeper understanding of the Care Team ethos
  • Proactively respond to inquiries and communicate solutions with exceptional follow-through
  • Collaborate with other departments as appropriate
  • Assure high accuracy when providing information about K-LOVE
  • Effectively communicate and collaborate with peers while maintaining personal spiritual and mental health
  • Participate in training to keep skills current
  • Maintain confidentiality with listener information and records
