Job Requirements

  • Physical fitness to stand and move for extended periods
  • Ability to lift items up to 50 pounds (23 kilograms) and push or pull heavy objects
  • Willingness to bend and kneel as necessary to complete tasks
  • Ability to follow safety protocols and wear protective gear
  • Flexible availability to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Basic literacy skills including reading, writing, and arithmetic
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience is an advantage but not required
  • Flexible attitude towards shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Make sure guest rooms and suites are clean and welcoming according to brand standards
  • Assist guests with requests such as providing toiletries or directions
  • Keep supervisor informed on room service progress and report needed repairs
  • Follow established safety procedures and wear protective equipment when necessary
  • Stay organized and manage supplies and amenities while minimizing waste
  • Reunite lost items with owners and log lost and found property
  • Wear uniform with pride and maintain a professional appearance
  • Perform ad-hoc duties as needed to support the team and hotel operations
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service
  • Assist with deep cleaning projects regularly
  • Perform turndown service duties when assigned
