Job Requirements
- Physical fitness to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds or 23 kilograms
- Capacity to bend, kneel and perform physical tasks
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Commitment to following safety procedures and wearing protective gear
- Ability to perform under pressure and work as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in housekeeping or related field is an advantage
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
- Strong physical stamina and fitness
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
Job Duties
- Ensure rooms and suites are clean, fresh and welcoming for guests
- Assist guests with needs such as providing toiletries or giving directions
- Keep supervisors updated on room service progress and report repairs needed
- Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment when necessary
- Maintain organization of supplies and amenities while minimizing waste
- Log and report any lost and found items according to procedures
- Collaborate with team members and communicate with other departments to ensure excellent service
- Participate in deep cleaning projects and turndown duties as assigned
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required
