Job Duties

  • Provide professional, courteous and efficient food and beverage service to guests
  • Clean and set up tables in the dining outlet
  • Serve water, bread and coffee to guests and greet them by name when possible
  • Stack trays properly for efficient stewarding and ensure safety standards
  • Complete closing duties including storing goods, cleaning equipment, and securing premises
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas
  • Inspect cleanliness and presentation of china, glass, and silverware prior to use
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas throughout the day following health and safety protocols
  • Follow all company safety and security policies
  • Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management
  • Maintain a clean and professional uniform and appearance
  • Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets
  • Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards
  • Communicate using clear and professional language
  • Answer telephones with appropriate etiquette
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues
  • Support team goals and respond appropriately to employee concerns
  • Adhere to quality standards and expectations in service delivery
  • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during work shifts
  • Move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects up to 50 pounds without assistance
  • Navigate uneven, slippery surfaces and stairs safely.
