Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- ability to work flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and evenings
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- knowledge of cleaning methods and safety procedures
- ability to communicate effectively with team and management
- commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred but not required
- previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required
- willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
- ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team
- attention to detail to ensure thorough cleaning and sanitation
- strong organizational and time management skills
Job Duties
- Dust, sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in tasting rooms, offices, production areas, and public spaces
- clean windows, doors, and glass surfaces at standard heights
- sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, and mirrors
- restock supplies
- clean fermentation tanks, barrels, tools, hoses, drains, and other equipment to maintain hygiene standards
- promptly clean spills, especially in high-traffic and production areas
- maintain patios, walkways, outdoor seating, and landscaped areas by removing trash, debris, and leaves
- power wash outdoor surfaces as needed
- empty trash, recycling, and compost bins
- ensure proper waste disposal per winery policies
- monitor waste levels and coordinate vendor removal services
- follow OSHA and regulatory guidelines for cleaning and material handling
- report maintenance issues or safety hazards to supervisors
- store and label cleaning supplies properly
- monitor and restock inventory
- communicate with management to order supplies as needed
- assist with setup and cleanup before, during, and after events or tastings
- keep public areas presentable for tours and private functions
- coordinate with production and front-of-house teams to minimize disruption during cleaning
- support departments with tasks like wine bottle polishing, labeling, and stocking
- handle unexpected cleaning emergencies promptly
- maintain cleanliness in breakrooms and employee areas
