Job Requirements
- GED
- Ability to work weekends and evenings
- Physical ability to lift, move, and operate equipment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and maintain cooperative working relationships
- Eligible for work study financial aid
- Willingness to work flexible hours including event days
Job Qualifications
- GED
- Qualify for work study financial aid assistance
- Previous experience working within an athletic facility or event management or comparable work environment
- Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills
- Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
- Prefer knowledge of CPR, AED and First Aid
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Job Duties
- Ensure that all equipment follows safety regulations, NCAA guidelines and federal, state, and county public health and safety regulations
- Work with the Associate Athletic Director of Facilities & Capital Projects to understand facility policies and procedures
- Responsible for day to day management of athletic equipment and laundering of athletic apparel for all varsity sports
- Enforce university policies and procedures that support facility rules and regulations
- Collaborate with staff on equipment issuance, locker and lock management, laundry needs, and event preparation
- Organize and perform game day operations including locker room and official area preparation
- Assist with operating the Ranger Store, ticket sales, and concessions
- Assist with selling and renewing SAC memberships
- Maintain cleanliness of facilities adhering to protocols
- Perform other duties assigned by supervisors
