Job Requirements

  • GED
  • Ability to work weekends and evenings
  • Physical ability to lift, move, and operate equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain cooperative working relationships
  • Eligible for work study financial aid
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including event days

Job Qualifications

  • GED
  • Qualify for work study financial aid assistance
  • Previous experience working within an athletic facility or event management or comparable work environment
  • Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations
  • Prefer knowledge of CPR, AED and First Aid
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Job Duties

  • Ensure that all equipment follows safety regulations, NCAA guidelines and federal, state, and county public health and safety regulations
  • Work with the Associate Athletic Director of Facilities & Capital Projects to understand facility policies and procedures
  • Responsible for day to day management of athletic equipment and laundering of athletic apparel for all varsity sports
  • Enforce university policies and procedures that support facility rules and regulations
  • Collaborate with staff on equipment issuance, locker and lock management, laundry needs, and event preparation
  • Organize and perform game day operations including locker room and official area preparation
  • Assist with operating the Ranger Store, ticket sales, and concessions
  • Assist with selling and renewing SAC memberships
  • Maintain cleanliness of facilities adhering to protocols
  • Perform other duties assigned by supervisors
