Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and/or experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in lieu of completed education degree
  • demonstrated knowledge of day-to-day operations of an intercollegiate athletics department
  • excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • strong organizational and analytical skills
  • proven ability to work proactively with minimal supervision
  • ability to work varied schedule including long days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or combination of education and/or experience
  • demonstrated knowledge of the day-to-day operations of an intercollegiate athletics department
  • excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • strong organizational and analytical skills
  • proven ability to work proactively with minimal supervision
  • over 3 years of experience preferred
  • previous experience in facilities and/or event management preferred
  • proficiency in video editing software, Google Docs, PowerPoint, and Excel preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist with all venue setup and teardown
  • attend pre-event planning and game management meetings for all assigned sports and events
  • assist with on-site event administration for assigned sports, overseeing crowd management and event staff
  • assist in oversight of student event staff on game day, aiding their training and briefing
  • assist with social media content as well as facility video board content
  • assist with coordination of security, fan services, and event staff assignments
  • work collaboratively with Trinity Police Department to plan security and safety for athletic facilities and events
  • develop a firm understanding of NCAA, SAA, and Trinity University rules and implement them at assigned events
  • cooperate and collaborate with other employees in teamwork and collegiality
  • provide professional leadership during emergencies
  • comply with all Trinity University policies and guidelines
  • work a varied schedule including long days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • perform other duties as required
