Job Requirements

  • Must be actively enrolled at the university
  • must have a valid U.S. driver's license
  • must be at least 18 years of age
  • able to work flexible part-time hours including some evenings and weekends
  • immersed in student life with understanding of the collegiate landscape and local city
  • connected with a diverse range of influential groups and individuals on campus
  • access to own housing and transportation to and from events

Job Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Athletes First's programming, talent, and brand initiatives
  • ability to maintain a professional demeanor when interacting with talent and executives
  • ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
  • teamwork and collaboration skills
  • self-starter attitude and proactive nature
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
  • students studying marketing, communications, sports management, public relations, and journalism preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Plan, organize, and execute on-campus events maximizing student and fan interaction before and during each stop of the Athletes First Tailgate Tour
  • actively promote event on campus to student organizations, clubs, sports teams, fraternities and sororities
  • provide creative insight on planning specific to your campus
  • collaborate with the Vice President of Events and the marketing team to ensure successful event delivery
  • serve as the primary liaison between Athletes First and the campus community
  • monitor event feedback and report outcomes to help refine future activations
