Job Requirements
- US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum five years recent Certified Professional Controller experience
- Experience at similar ATC facility level 10 or above
- Demonstrated teaching or instructional experience
- Preferred prior supervisory experience
- Ability to interface with FAA personnel at all levels
Job Qualifications
- Certified Professional Controller certification
- Minimum five years of recent CPC experience controlling live traffic or instructing FAA personnel
- Experience at level 10 or above ATC facility
- Strong teaching and platform skills
- Ability to manage classroom environments
- Proficiency with current ATC automation and simulation systems
- Knowledge applicable to obtain radar and non-radar simulation laboratory certifications
Job Duties
- Deliver high-quality classroom and simulation laboratory training to air traffic controller students
- Oversee and direct activities of contractor personnel within the instructional area
- Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators
- Participate in curriculum design and development
- Ensure compliance with FAA standards for air traffic control training
- Manage technical training using current ATC automation and simulation systems
- Interface effectively with FAA personnel to meet training needs
