Job Requirements

  • US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust clearance
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Minimum five years recent Certified Professional Controller experience
  • Experience at similar ATC facility level 10 or above
  • Demonstrated teaching or instructional experience
  • Preferred prior supervisory experience
  • Ability to interface with FAA personnel at all levels

Job Qualifications

  • Certified Professional Controller certification
  • Minimum five years of recent CPC experience controlling live traffic or instructing FAA personnel
  • Experience at level 10 or above ATC facility
  • Strong teaching and platform skills
  • Ability to manage classroom environments
  • Proficiency with current ATC automation and simulation systems
  • Knowledge applicable to obtain radar and non-radar simulation laboratory certifications

Job Duties

  • Deliver high-quality classroom and simulation laboratory training to air traffic controller students
  • Oversee and direct activities of contractor personnel within the instructional area
  • Mentor students and Remote Pilot Operators
  • Participate in curriculum design and development
  • Ensure compliance with FAA standards for air traffic control training
  • Manage technical training using current ATC automation and simulation systems
  • Interface effectively with FAA personnel to meet training needs
