Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Professional Controller certification
- US citizenship
- ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- minimum of five years recent CPC experience or recent FAA instructional experience at a similar ATC facility
- demonstrated technical skills with ATC automation and simulation
- effective communication and interpersonal skills
- availability for part-time day shift work at Chicago O'Hare ATCT
- no travel and no remote work capability
Job Qualifications
- US citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
- minimum of five years recent Certified Professional Controller experience or recent FAA instruction experience at a similar ATC facility
- high school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Professional Controller (CPC) certification
- demonstrated teaching and classroom management skills
- strong technical knowledge of ATC automation and simulation systems
- ability to interface effectively with FAA personnel
Job Duties
- deliver high-quality classroom and simulation training to air traffic control students
- oversee contractor personnel providing instructional support
- mentor developmental air traffic controllers and certified professional controllers
- participate in curriculum design and development
- ensure compliance with FAA training standards
- collaborate effectively with FAA staff at all levels
- maintain technical proficiency with ATC automation and simulation systems
