Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one year experience as an Air Traffic Control pseudo pilot or an Associate Degree or higher from an FAA Air Traffic-Collegiate Training Initiative school
  • Ability to follow lesson plan material
  • Ability to speak clearly in a classroom lecture environment
  • Ability to work in a team teaching environment
  • Ability to work with IT professionals in troubleshooting ATC simulation equipment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • At least one year experience as an Air Traffic Control pseudo pilot or Associate Degree or higher from FAA AT-CTI school
  • Ability to follow lesson plan material
  • Ability to speak clearly in a classroom lecture environment
  • Ability to work in a team teaching environment
  • Ability to work with IT professionals in troubleshooting ATC simulation equipment
  • Familiarity with Adacel MaxSim Tower and Radar simulation
  • Prior experience as a pseudo pilot at FAA Academy or AT-CTI school
  • Familiarity with ATC simulation equipment from an operational perspective

Job Duties

  • Serve as a pseudo pilot in ATC Simulation Labs
  • Assist in classroom instruction and student briefings
  • Operate and maintain Adacel MaxSim Tower and Radar simulation equipment
  • Collaborate with IT professionals to troubleshoot simulation technology
  • Support special department events and tours
  • Follow detailed lesson plans for lab and classroom activities
  • Participate in team teaching and training sessions
