Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Capability to read and understand employment policies and safety procedures
- Ability to make prompt decisions to resolve customer issues
- Comfortable working both independently and within a team
- Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift at least 25 pounds
- Comfortable using electronic devices and technology for daily tasks
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer proficiency including point-of-sale systems
- Customer-focused attitude with problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide personalized service
- Manage Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS) transactions and merchandise returns
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting At Your Service area
- Assist customers with total store fulfillment including order pickups
- Meet daily sales goals and promote Macy's Loyalty program
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure excellent customer experiences
- Handle cash register and other electronic devices to process transactions
