Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Regular dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers and supervisors
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety procedures in English
- Capacity to make prompt, sound decisions to address customer needs and resolve issues
- Comfort with electronic devices and registers
- Ability to meet daily sales goals
- Responsible for acquiring new customers by opening credit accounts and sharing loyalty benefits
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift at least 25 pounds
- Capability to perform tasks requiring frequent bending, stooping, kneeling and reaching
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and colleagues
- Basic proficiency with computers and handheld electronic devices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving skills with a customer-first mindset
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Support all At Your Service activities including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), handle merchandise returns and order pickups
- Uphold Macy’s service standards by delivering personalized and seamless customer experiences
- Maintain the At Your Service area by keeping it clean, organized, and welcoming
- Use all necessary systems proficiently to complete transactions and manage customer orders efficiently
- Engage customers by initiating friendly conversations, sharing loyalty program benefits and opening credit accounts
- Meet daily sales goals and work collaboratively with team members
- Assist with curbside delivery of BOPS orders and ensure timely package handling
