Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety procedures in English
- Capability to make prompt, sound decisions to address customer needs
- Comfortable working independently and in a team environment
- Physically able to stand for long periods, lift at least 25 pounds, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach above eye level
- Ability to use computers and handheld equipment for processing transactions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous retail or customer service experience beneficial but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using electronic devices and point-of-sale systems
- Positive attitude with a customer-first mindset
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet customers warmly and offer genuine hospitality
- Assist customers with Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, and order pickups
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting service area
- Use systems proficiently to complete transactions and support total store fulfillment
- Promote Macy's Loyalty program and share benefits with customers
- Meet daily sales goals and support team dynamics
- Collaborate with teammates to ensure excellent customer service and store results
