Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English
- Capacity to make prompt decisions and resolve customer issues
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift at least 25 pounds, and perform tasks involving stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching
- Comfortable with frequent use of technology and handheld equipment
- Willingness to work 12-30+ hours per week depending on full-time or part-time status
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in retail or customer service preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using electronic devices and point-of-sale systems
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities
Job Duties
- Greet customers with genuine hospitality and friendly conversation
- Support Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS) transactions accurately and efficiently
- Manage merchandise returns and organize pickup areas
- Maintain clean and organized service and shopping areas
- Meet daily sales goals and promote Macy's loyalty program
- Collaborate effectively with team members to provide excellent customer service
- Handle electronic devices and process transactions using point-of-sale systems
