Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Reading and understanding employment policies and safety rules in English
- Ability to make prompt decisions to resolve customer issues
- Comfort with electronic devices and technology
- Ability to meet daily sales goals
- Physical ability to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift up to 25 pounds
- Capability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach above eye level
- Visual capability including close vision, color vision, and depth perception
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous customer service or retail experience beneficial but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to learn and use technology and systems for transactions
- Proven ability to multitask and problem solve in fast-paced settings
- Demonstrated team player with a positive attitude
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
Job Duties
- Greet customers with genuine hospitality and build lasting relationships
- Assist customers with Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS) activities including order pickups and merchandise returns
- Maintain an organized, clean, and inviting At Your Service area
- Use systems proficiently to complete transactions and ensure a friction-free customer pickup experience
- Achieve daily sales goals by promoting Macy’s Loyalty program and credit account openings
- Collaborate with team members to support the store environment and customer needs
- Uphold Macy’s service standards by providing excellent customer service throughout each interaction
