Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers and team members
- Reading and understanding employment policies and safety procedures in English
- Ability to make prompt and sound decisions to resolve customer issues
- Comfortable using electronic devices and handling transactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders and reaching
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in customer service or retail environments is beneficial
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with electronic devices and transaction systems
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Demonstrated commitment to meeting sales goals and delivering excellent customer experiences
Job Duties
- Greet customers with genuine hospitality and build personal relationships
- Assist customers with Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, and order pickups
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting pickup and return area
- Use all required systems and technology to process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service and support store goals
- Promote Macy's Loyalty program and assist customers with account openings
- Adapt to changing priorities and work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
