Job Requirements
- Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety procedures in English
- Ability to make prompt, sound decisions to address customer needs
- Comfortable using electronic devices and completing register transactions
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift at least 25 pounds, and perform activities such as stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
- Good vision including close vision, color vision, and depth perception
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment
- Basic proficiency with electronic devices and point of sale systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Positive attitude and commitment to excellent customer service
Job Duties
- Greet customers with genuine hospitality and engage in personal conversations
- Support all At Your Service activities including Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, and order pickups
- Maintain an organized and clean pickup and return area
- Meet daily sales goals and promote Macy's loyalty program
- Assist customers with total store fulfillment and be proficient in relevant systems
- Collaborate with team members to provide excellent customer service
- Ensure timely completion and curbside delivery of BOPS orders
