Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • minimum of 3 years experience in higher education or non-profit organization in alumni engagement, volunteer management, and event planning or 5+ years experience/training in alumni engagement, sales, or marketing
  • ability to multi-task and handle heavy workloads
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work with diverse groups including healthcare professionals, community leaders, and students
  • willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
  • must successfully pass a background check prior to employment

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • minimum of 3 years experience in higher education or non-profit organization with focus on alumni engagement, volunteer management, and event planning
  • proficiency in CRM systems such as Raiser's Edge
  • excellent interpersonal, organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • ability to multitask and think creatively
  • strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
  • adaptability and good judgment
  • willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends
  • preferred Master's degree with five or more years of alumni engagement experience

Job Duties

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of key alumni events, including Alumni Weekend
  • manage logistics such as vendor coordination, volunteer support, communications, budget, and post event follow-up
  • act as the main liaison for alumni engagement within specific colleges and schools, building and nurturing faculty relationships
  • oversee alumni receptions and develop new event initiatives, securing sponsorships
  • track, analyze, and report on alumni engagement metrics to measure impact and support strategic decisions
  • utilize CRM systems like Raiser’s Edge to manage alumni data and interactions ensuring data integrity
  • collaborate on the development and implementation of alumni programs and conduct travel as needed to support engagement efforts
