Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in a pastry kitchen or similar role
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • physical ability to perform bending, lifting, and stretching as needed

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience in pastry preparation and baking
  • knowledge of baking techniques and pastry equipment
  • ability to follow standardized recipes and portion control
  • basic food safety knowledge
  • good organizational and multitasking skills
  • experience in banquet service is a plus
  • ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • sets up and maintains pastry station in a clean and sanitized condition
  • prepares desserts, pastries, breads, cookies, Danish, and other baked goods for à la carte and banquet service
  • measures and mixes ingredients according to standardized recipes to ensure consistency and quality
  • assists with dessert plating, finishing, garnishing, and presentation for service and events
  • maintains proper labeling, dating, rotation, and storage of all pastry products
  • assists with dessert station set-up for club events and special functions
  • assist with banquet operations and other duties as assigned by culinary team
  • supports recipe updates, research, and development as directed by the Chef or Executive Pastry Chef
