Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a culinary or pastry role preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Willingness to perform bending and stretching tasks
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards
  • Availability to assist with special events and holiday productions

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in pastry preparation and dessert baking
  • Knowledge of quality control in food preparation
  • Ability to research and develop new recipes
  • Skill in organizing and maintaining inventory
  • Ability to work under the direction of an Executive Pastry Chef
  • Familiarity with plating and dessert presentation techniques
  • Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting standing and bending

Job Duties

  • Prepares desserts pastries breads cookies danish for a la carte banquet and other member needs
  • Inspects quality portioning and garnishing of all items prepared
  • Sets up and maintains stock in pastry station keeps desserts prepared on daily basis rotates and organizes desserts and stock in walk-in and dessert box
  • Assists with daily production
  • Helps and assists with club events and the set-up of dessert station
  • Updates recipe file on all new desserts and plate presentations
  • Researches new items ongoing
  • Logs usage and production for all holiday and special events
  • Maintains quality and cost control
  • Assists the Executive Pastry Chef with other assigned tasks
