Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior management experience in a restaurant or food service setting
  • ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day
  • ability to continuously reach, bend, lift, carry and stoop
  • capability to move or handle items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • flexibility to work varied hours and days including weekends and holidays
  • strong organizational and leadership skills
  • commitment to company standards and customer satisfaction

Job Qualifications

  • Leadership experience in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Internet
  • knowledge of health department regulations and compliance
  • experience in financial analysis and labor cost management
  • excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
  • ability to handle administrative tasks accurately and timely

Job Duties

  • Ensure that all company standard operation procedures are followed
  • teach and practice Freddy's standards of quality, timeliness and service
  • maintain an environment of open communication, positive attitudes, and trust based relationships with all personnel
  • ensure that customer satisfaction is the highest priority for all employees
  • consistently live hospitality in every instance
  • lead by example maintaining professional image, appearance and language
  • conduct daily labor analysis to achieve target labor percentage
  • ensure quality control standards and procedures are strictly enforced
  • ensure all standardized portion control guidelines are followed and maintained
  • monitor sales trends, develop forecasts and make effective decisions to control the key cost of sales and labor
  • maximize productivity without compromising quality standards
  • ensure full restaurant compliance with all health department regulations
  • immediately address critical violations on self-inspections, health department inspection reports, and provide corrective action to prevent repeat violations
  • ensure that inspections are conducted, and correct on-going issues
  • enthusiastically meet guests needs, special requests and resolve guest complaints and concerns with the commitment to satisfy them
  • review and approve all schedules and forecasts
  • coordinate opening and closing activities in a timely and safe manner
  • complete all operational checklists daily
  • ensure that all cash handling procedures are followed
  • ensure all paperwork and administrative forms are completed correctly and turned in in a timely manner
  • resolve conflicts and improve team members performance issues in a constructive manner and according to policies
  • have experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word and Internet
