Job Requirements
- Previous hotel supervisory or management experience required
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- strong organizational skills
- maintain required certifications such as Food Handlers, Alcohol Awareness, CPR, and First Aid
- uphold Avion Hospitality grooming, uniform, and name-tag standards
- ensure compliance with Avion Hospitality policies and safety standards
- support operations during peak business periods as needed
Job Qualifications
- Previous hotel supervisory or management experience
- AGM or department head experience preferred
- strong operational knowledge of select-service hotel environments
- demonstrated leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- financial acumen and familiarity with hotel accounting processes preferred
Job Duties
- Approach all guest and employee interactions with professionalism, warmth, and a service-oriented mindset
- maintain regular attendance and scheduling flexibility in alignment with hotel operational needs
- ensure compliance with all Avion Hospitality policies, procedures, and safety standards
- oversee hotel operations in the absence of the General Manager including guest services, food and beverage/food production, engineering, accounting, sales, and housekeeping departments
- assist the General Manager with revenue-generation initiatives, sales efforts, and support of evening functions
- support employee development through corporate-approved training programs and conduct regular coaching meetings with department heads
- foster a culture of empowerment that encourages guest-focused decision making
- prepare and submit financial reports to corporate office and meet all reporting deadlines
- oversee recruiting, hiring, and training for guest services based on occupancy needs
- promote a positive, team-oriented culture focused on guest satisfaction and employee engagement
- maintain familiarity with SOPs for all departments and ensure compliance or develop action plans
- participate in Manager on Duty coverage as scheduled
