Job Requirements

  • 2-year college degree
  • ServSafe certification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in food management or related field
  • Must pass physical examination
  • Ability to maintain professional certification and participate in continuing education
  • Committed to leadership and external professional involvement

Job Qualifications

  • Associates degree in food management, nutrition, culinary, or related field
  • ServSafe certification
  • Minimum two years experience in relevant area
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial processes
  • Strong leadership and staff development skills
  • Experience with food safety regulations
  • Proficient in technology for food service operations
  • Excellent communication and collaborative abilities

Job Duties

  • Manage retail cafes, catering, and distribution operations
  • Ensure all foodservice areas comply with regulatory safety and labeling standards
  • Coordinate culinary, service, and cash handling functions for retail cafes
  • Develop high quality and diverse menus including limited time offers
  • Conduct cash handling audits and maintain compliance with Internal Audit and PCI standards
  • Collaborate with department management and external partners for event planning and community outreach
  • Oversee HR functions including staff training, evaluation, scheduling, and payroll adherence
  • Monitor and control operational and staffing budgets
  • Implement technology for ordering, inventory, and financial reporting
  • Maintain patient diet office systems to support dining services
