Job Requirements
- 2-year college degree
- ServSafe certification
- Minimum of 2 years experience in food management or related field
- Must pass physical examination
- Ability to maintain professional certification and participate in continuing education
- Committed to leadership and external professional involvement
Job Qualifications
- Associates degree in food management, nutrition, culinary, or related field
- ServSafe certification
- Minimum two years experience in relevant area
- Ability to manage budgets and financial processes
- Strong leadership and staff development skills
- Experience with food safety regulations
- Proficient in technology for food service operations
- Excellent communication and collaborative abilities
Job Duties
- Manage retail cafes, catering, and distribution operations
- Ensure all foodservice areas comply with regulatory safety and labeling standards
- Coordinate culinary, service, and cash handling functions for retail cafes
- Develop high quality and diverse menus including limited time offers
- Conduct cash handling audits and maintain compliance with Internal Audit and PCI standards
- Collaborate with department management and external partners for event planning and community outreach
- Oversee HR functions including staff training, evaluation, scheduling, and payroll adherence
- Monitor and control operational and staffing budgets
- Implement technology for ordering, inventory, and financial reporting
- Maintain patient diet office systems to support dining services
