Job Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of industry experience
  • 3 to 5 years leadership experience
  • LCAM designation
  • bachelor's degree preferred but not required
  • occasional travel may be required
  • ability to lift up to 15 pounds
  • based onsite and perform regular community site inspections
  • compliance with drug-free workplace policies

Job Duties

  • Inspect communities and make maintenance recommendations
  • understand and carry out the terms and conditions of the management contracts
  • develop and submit complete and accurate annual budgets, meeting all deadlines and considering asset goals and market conditions
  • develop and maintain an effective ongoing resident relation plan and implement initiatives to achieve exemplary resident services
  • coordinate activities with other corporate support functions
  • analyze advantages and disadvantages of alternative solutions to problems and make recommendations to the Board of Directors
  • prepare for, attend, and present Manager's and Financial Reports at Board of Director meetings, and summarize notes and minutes
  • fully develop all potential revenue opportunities
  • implement standard operating procedures consistent with company culture
  • interface regularly with internal customers and external vendors and clients
  • hire, train, mentor, and support team members
  • supervise all on-site and off-site staff supporting the communities served by Vesta
