Job Duties

  • assist with the planning, development and implementation of fundraising projects and programs designed to increase the visibility of the department and enhance giving to the university
  • support the UNM Lobo Club through annual giving by assisting with the operations and fundraising efforts of the lobo scholarship fund
  • plan, direct and execute lobo club special events and activities for donors and prospects including the annual cherry and silver scholarship gala, the annual lobo club golf tournament, and tailgates
  • design, develop, and assess new events that cultivate, engage, recognize and thank lobo club members
  • assist with managing and implementing the lobo club gift-in-kind community partnership program and thanking, researching, and recruiting community partners
  • assist with recording, tracking, and coordinating in-kind donations to the lobo club
  • develop creative messaging strategies to engage and inform current and potential lobo club members
  • create, review, and edit content to advertise the lobo club’s mission on top social media platforms
  • draft and propose communication and marketing campaigns, track and report campaign performance
  • collaborate with the UNM athletics marketing and communications team and the UNM athletics creative team to ensure unity in messaging to the public
  • assist with gameday stewardship and operations
  • interact with faculty, staff, development colleagues, volunteers, and external constituents to ensure effective coordination of programs, projects, and activities
  • perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
